Punarnava is a herbal medicine that aims to help maintain efficient kidney function, with its diuretic, anti-spasmodic and anti-inflammatory action. It is also a very useful herb in treating edema. Punarnava is widely used to cure viral jaundice, being a good liver stimulant. Punarnava may decrease levels of transaminases indicate stabilization of plasma membrane and protection of hepatocytes against damage caused by hepatotoxin. It is related to functioning of hepatocytes and increase in its activity is due to increased synthesis in presence of biliary pressure and thus protect the liver disorders. Punarnava's main ingredient is: Extract of Spreading Hogweed.
Punarnava is available in capsules which are taken by mouth.
It is recommended to take 1 Punarnava capsule twice a day before meals.
Punarnava Missing Dose
Do not take double dose. If you miss a dose you should take it as soon as you remember about your missing. If it is the time for the next dose you should continue your regular dosing schedule.
If you overdose Punarnava and you don't feel good you should visit your doctor or health care provider immediately.
Store at room temperature between 15 and 30 degrees C (59 and 86 degrees F) away from moisture, light and heat. Keep this medicine in the original bottle. Throw away any unused medicine after the expiration date. Keep out of the reach of children.
